There are an estimated 2,777 people homeless in Metro Vancouver, according to the 2014 Metro Vancouver Homeless Count.
Much like an iceberg, we only observe the visible homeless. Most homeless individuals are hidden.
Living on Lower Mainland streets means cold nights, a lack of food, sleep deprivation, poor hygiene, social isolation, victimization and other conditions.
We provide 221shelter beds, 107 extreme weather shelter spaces, 172 transitional housing units and 617 supportive/permanent housing units.
