Our shelters and housing are open 24/7 so we also need people who are flexible and dedicated.
Jobs performing a variety of tasks are available within our shelters, residences and outreach teams as well as our two drop ins.
Whether we're working on the streets bringing in the absolute homeless, providing shelter and services, case planning or giving residential support, we work together as a strong team so we can best meet the needs of the men and women coping with homelessness.
Most of our employees start on a casual basis, gaining skills and experience while working towards regular fulltime and part-time positions.
Lookout Emergency Aid Society hires workers for our emergency shelters and our housing programs several times a year. Lookout is a unionized organization and posts internally for positions prior to looking to outside appointments. All applications will be kept on file for six months.
