Please note that while immediate placements may be possible, some tasks are seasonal, and there may be a normal waiting period before you are asked to volunteer.

Our service is an extremely busy one, restricted by a very tight budget, operating with minimal staffing; and consequently many tasks and jobs are fulfilled only by the grace of volunteer commitment.  Thank you for volunteering!

TEAM BUILDING OPPORTUNITIES Group Volunteering is a wonderful Team Building exercise. We’ll provide lunch and snacks as your corporate Team applies their skills in one day or half day activities! Ideally suited for activities such as painting a Shelter hallway, or perhaps some light landscaping in a courtyard garden. Contact Karen at kareny@lookoutsociety.ca to find out more!
