BC Food Processor’s Association
The BC Food Processors Association is pleased to announce the pilot phase of a new recognition program for members, starting immediately.
Many organizations give to worthy causes, both from their excess, and from their hearts. We would like to formally recognize and encourage these gifts that mean so very much to the lives of the most disenfranchised people in our society. People to whom this gift of food is the gift of hope, and the gift of life.

Hockey for the Homeless Fundraiser
Hockey for the Homeless is a volunteer-driven charity organization established in 1996 when a group of Toronto businessmen decided to turn an annual industry hockey tournament into a charitable event aimed at helping the homeless in the city of Toronto.
On February 20, Hockey for the Homeless expanded to Vancouver. Mayor Gregor Robertson played in Vancouver’s inaugural event, helping to raise both awareness, and much needed funds to combat homelessness. |
