‘Imposter’ going door-to-door claiming to raise funds for Lookout Emergency Aid Society

It has been brought to our attention at the Lookout Housing Centre that somebody has been going door-to-door on the North Shore claiming to be raising funds for the Lookout Emergency Aid Society. We wanted to let the community to know that our society does not engage in any door-to-door fundraising, and that this person is not affiliated with our society in any way. We have notified the RCMP of the issue.

The North Shore Housing Centre is truly grateful for the amazing support the communities on the North Shore have shown for homelessness over the years, and we are saddened to hear of somebody taking advantage of this generosity.
